1st Draft on Appreciation
I appreciate that this book b/c it links with the bible. And has important connections to the bible stories. Like Aslan and Jesus are practically the same person except they have different names and one is a human and one is a beast. I really like that everyone looks up to this Aslan the same way a lot of people on Earth look up to god. They both have their followers who have faith that their leader or their god will someday come back and save them from their sins. And as a Christian I truly believe that, that is true and there are many mini stories in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe that links to the bible. This is my appreciation
On Earth and in Narnia there are believers. Believers who are taught to have faith and hope in there god that is the same in the Bible many believers in the Bible were taught to keep the hope and faith high. And I really like that b/c threw out the beginning and the middle the people of Narnia were all talking about how Alsan will soon came and save all those who believe In him and destroy the Evil of Narnia (White Witch=Evil) the same in the Bible. Many people in the Bible believed for Jesus the son of god to come down and heal the sick and help those in need. This is a wonderful example that Jesus and Aslan have believers who have faith and hope in their god. I really appreciate this a lot b/c as a Christian I am taught to keep my faith and hope in God b/c he will answer my prayers and it really does happen. When u keep your hope and faith and trust in God, miracles do happen. And that is what is taught to the creatures of Narnia and the Christians who believe in God.
Ok I have already explained that Alsan and Jesus is practically the same person. But I am going to go a lot deeper ok in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe Aslan had been killed on the stone table by the White Witch. And in the Bible Jesus was killed on the cross. They both resurrected from the dead but they resurrected at different days. But they both had the same story of why they resurrected they both resurrected b/c they had taking place for a sinners death and b/c of that they came back to life. And I really like that they died for someone in their place. Alsan died b/c he was taking the place of Edmond, Edmond had sided with the White Witch and when Edmond escaped he came to Aslan’s land to reclaim. His blood so Alsan went in his place and resurrected the next day after being killed on the Stone table. Jesus’s story is a lot longer but imam make it short Jesus died for our sins so when we sin we should not be damned to hell and be judged by those around us. Even though we are still judged we are not judged the way back in the day.
Ok all Christians know that the first man was Adam and the first woman is Eve. Now all men and women originated from Adam and Eve so in Narnia when they mean by sons of Adam and daughters of eve that is what they are talking about. That they all man have come from Adam and Eve, and as a Christian I believe that this is true we are all from one couple.
